Monthly Chapter Ride Led by Steve Bishop

Hello Hogsters:

The monthly D for July is the Alpine Coaster in Leavenworth with a bonus D of the Plain Grocery & Gas.
The chapter ride will accomplish both of those destinations.
The coaster does not accept same day tickets. I tried to get a group exception but no such luck. Frankly, we are not going to spend a lot of time there (just enough for pictures and a look around), so you might want to ride on a different trip.
We will depart from ESHD shortly after the meeting. 520 to Avondale then Novelty Hill road to the valley. Cross over to Duvall and out to Monroe. We'll have a quick break at Louski's in Skycomish to get rid of any unwanted coffee, then on to the 59er diner at Lake Wenatchee. After lunch, it's a short run to Leavenworth and the coaster is the first turn coming Into town. After a look around, we'll proceed through town to catch the Chumstick Highway to Plain. It looks like an awesome road. That will be the end of the official ride. To get home, continue on the highway which becomes Beaver Valley Road, then a left on 207 to take you back to Highway 2.
