With a Heavy Heart, I Welcome You to Your November Destination:
18600 SE 240th Street Kent, WA 98042
…For those who signed the proverbial blank check with their lives. Tahoma National Cemetery (TNC) was established November 11, 1993, and opened for interments on October 1, 1997. The cemetery was dedicated on September 26, 1997. Several expansion projects have been completed since then. As of today, 75,154 Military Veterans and their dependents have been granted their final resting place at Tahoma.
You might consider taking your photo from the West [Exit] side of the cemetery – as to not obstruct any potential funeral processions entering from the East [Entrance] side. |
You have until Friday, 22 November, to get over to Tahoma National Cemetery. Get a photo of you, your motorcycle, and the sign at the front of TNC. Then, submit that photo on our ES HOG Facebook page or send it directly to me at [email protected]. You’ll then be entered in our raffle for one of two $40 H-D gift cards.
Ride Easy, Safe & Often! Jason “Griff” Griffin |
The monthly challenge is a local (or not) place that you ride to every month. Everyone who makes the trek has their name put into a drawing. The drawing is pulled at the monthly chapter meeting and the winner gets an Eastside Harley Gift Card. While winning a giftcard is cool, having an excuse to get out and ride by yourself or with others to a place you've never been is priceless.
