Tamale Ride

Approximately 300 miles and 6.5 hours of saddle time.

Meet at Eastside Harley-Davidson, fueled and ready to ride at 8am.  Kick stands up at 8:30am.  Approximately 1 hour to Cle Elum for a coffee/rest stop.  Continue on Highway 10 to Ellensburg, then south on Canyon Road to Union Gap, arriving at approx.11am.

Lunch will be at Los Hernandez Tamales, former winner of the James Beard - American Classic award.  A true hole in the wall with limited seating, but worth the ride.  They serve pork, chicken or asparagus tamales with green or red salsa and a limited selection of soda. They have frozen tamales for sale, as well, so bring a cooler with you.

We’ll start back around noon.  The ride will be via Highways 12 and 410 over Chinook Pass.  End of ride will be at the City Hall Saloon in Cumberland.  Arriving at approximately 4:00 PM.  You’ll be on your own from there.
