40th Annual OYSTER RUN led by Jason G!

Oyster Run is ON - and ES HOG will be riding to it! Jason Griffin is excited to step up to lead this ride, with me (Ken) as sweep.

Here is the excerpt from Jason's FB post: 


Hi, my HOG and HOGETTE brothers and sisters! I'm excited and honored to be leading our Chapter ride to the 40th Annual Oyster Run in Anacortes this year. Every year since 1981 (except 2020 and 2021), the Run is held on the last Sunday in September.


This year, we'll be KSU from our home base - Eastside Harley Davidson - on Sunday, 24 September at 0830 (8:30 AM for you non-military-minded folks). Please, arrive fueled up (and drained) no later than 0815.


Road Warrior Extraordinaire, Ken Anderson, will be our sweep. We'll follow his route from 2022, including the following roads: I405, WA522, Echo Lake Road, WA9, I5, back into the country roads, and up to Anacortes! It's an approx 2.5-hour ride in total with one stop at the Smokey Point rest area off I5N.

We'll ride as the organized, safe group we are known to be - without deviation. This promises to be a fun run!
Once we arrive in Anacortes, the ride will conclude after we're parked on 3rd Street down near the water.
Getting back home is the onus of each individual rider.
