We have had some amazing summer destinations organised by our Head Road Captain. It certainly looks like a lot of you have been enjoying our fantastic weather to get to those destinations. Keep on logging those HOG miles!
Next year there will be a few vacancies on the board, so please think about nominating someone (or yourself) for any of these positions for 2025:
- Safety Officer
- Activities Coordinator
- Treasurer (from June 2025)
It would be great to get your nominations in to me before the November meeting as that’s when we will be voting on the board positions.

Here's a bonus – of sorts...
“Frugals” Restaurant has three locations. Port Angeles, Spokane, and Missoula. No matter where you find yourself on your iron steed, look around. Whether you’re taking in the northern coastline of Washington – peering across at Victoria B.C., or on your way to the 2024 Challenge of the Fort Missoula Museum, you’ll likely see a Frugals! One last push to round out the year, folks. After this, the PNW weather will begin restricting many among us to fair-weather / catch-as-catch-can / more-close-to-home D’s. Get out there and make the most of the sunshine while you still can.
Get a photo of yourself, your motorcycle, and a Frugals (you pick one). Then, post it on our ES HOG Facebook page and/or send it to me at [email protected] You’ve got from now through midnight, Friday, 27 September 2024 to do so.

Eastside H.O.G. Hog Scan Participation Point Program: As of 8/23/24, John P. has pulled out into the lead, with Roberto L. right behind him and new front runner, Ron M. is in 3rd.
So, come out and join in on a ride, attend the Annual HOG Picnic, or join us monthly at the chapter meetings. Each Chapter event earns your points. The top 3-point earners will be awarded a gift card at the end of the year: $100, $50 and $25 gift cards up for grabs. So come on out and hang out with your fellow H.O.G.'s and earn points!

Shall be responsible for administering and maintaining meeting minutes, annual reports, membership reports on hog.com, insurance and legal documentation, event releases, and enrollment releases. These permanent records shall be kept at the sponsoring Dealership. |

Greetings, fellow riders of the ESHOG chapter!
As we embrace the beauty of our stunning Pacific Northwest, it's essential to seize those perfect days for a ride, sharing the road and our stories with one another. While plans often unfold differently than we envision—like my annual pilgrimage to Sturgis, which took an unexpected turn this year due to my wife's shoulder surgery—it's the camaraderie and support within our community that truly matters. As I take on new responsibilities at home, I’m reminded of the strength and resilience we share as riders.
So, I invite each of you to reflect on your own adventures and challenges and consider contributing your unique stories to the HOG CALL. Together, let's celebrate our passion for riding and support one another through life's twists and turns. Your voice is important, and I can't wait to hear from you!
